ZenBlur is an iPhone app for blurring sensitive information in screenshots, photos, and PDF pages before sharing or exporting them. Optional export settings can adjust image metadata—for example replacing supported fields with ZenBlur values or removing location and GPS— when you choose to use that feature.

1. Core Editing

ZenBlur’s core editing features work locally on your device. Image editing, PDF page rendering, blur placement, face detection, text detection, and export processing are designed to happen on-device.

2. No Account Required

ZenBlur does not require account creation in order to use its core features.

3. Your Files

ZenBlur does not upload your screenshots, photos, or PDFs to our servers for the core blur and export workflow.

4. Purchases

If you subscribe to or purchase ZenBlur Pro, payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings. ZenBlur may also use a third-party purchase management provider to validate purchase status, unlock Pro features, and support purchase restoration.

5. Advertising

The free version of ZenBlur may display advertisements. If ads are enabled in the app, advertising providers may process limited device or app-related information as needed to deliver and measure ads, subject to their own privacy practices.

6. Analytics and Diagnostics

ZenBlur does not use the contents of your files for advertising. If analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostics tools are used, they are limited to app performance, stability, and troubleshooting purposes.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your screenshots, photos, or PDF documents. We do not use your files for cloud-based editing in the core app workflow.

8. Third-Party Services

Depending on the version of the app and enabled features, ZenBlur may rely on third-party services for purchases, advertising, or diagnostics. Those third parties may process limited information according to their own policies.

9. Your Choices

You can stop using ZenBlur at any time. You can also manage app permissions, such as Photos access, through your device settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or App Store requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
